About DFGX

TheInternational Core Fixed Income ETF seeks its investment objective by investing primarily in a universeof non-U.S. dollar-denominated foreign and U.S. debt securities. The Portfolio also may invest in U.S.dollar-denominated debt securities to manage cash or to maintain liquidity. The Portfolio may investin obligations issued or guaranteed by foreign and U.S. governments, their agencies and instrumentalities, corporate debt obligations, bank obligations, commercial paper, repurchase agreements, money market funds, and obligations of supranational organizations. At the present time, Dimensional Fund Advisors LP (the“Advisor”) expects that the Portfolio will primarily invest in the obligations of issuersthat are in developed countries. However, the Advisor may invest in issuers located in other countriesas well, which may include emerging markets. The Advisor selects the Portfolio’s foreign countryand currency compositions based on an evaluation of various factors, including, but not limited to, relativeinterest rates and exchange rates. The Portfolio may invest in fixed incomesecurities considered investment grade at the time of purchase (e.g., rated AAA to BBB- by S&P GlobalRatings ("S&P") or Fitch Ratings Ltd. ("Fitch") or Aaa to Baa3 by Moody's Ratings ("Moody's")). ThePortfolio may invest with an emphasis on fixed income securities rated A+ to BBB- by S&P or Fitchor A1 to Baa3 by Moody's. The Portfolio will be managed with a view to capturing expected credit premiumsand expected term premiums. The term "expected credit premium" means the expected incremental returnon investment for holding obligations considered to have greater credit risk than direct obligationsof the U.S. Treasury, and "expected term premium" means the expected incremental return on investmentfor holding securities having longer-term maturities as compared to shorter-term maturities. In managingthe Portfolio, the Advisor will increase or decrease investment exposure to intermediate-term securitiesdepending on the expected term premium and also increase or decrease investment exposure to lower-ratedinvestment grade securities (i.e., those rated A+ to BBB- by S&P or Fitch or A1 to Baa3 by Moody’s)depending on the expected credit premium. The Portfolio intends toinvest its assets to gain exposure to at least three different countries, excluding the United States. An issuer may be considered to be of a country if it is organized under the laws of, maintains its principalplace of business in, has at least 50% of its assets or derives at least 50% of its operating incomein, or is a government, government agency, instrumentality or central bank of, that country. As a non-fundamentalpolicy, under normal circumstances, the Portfolio will invest at least 80% of its net assets in fixedincome securities. Generally, the Portfolio will purchase fixed income securitiesthat mature within twenty years from the date of settlement. Under normal circumstances, the Portfoliowill generally maintain a weighted average duration of no more than one half year greater than, and noless than one year below, the weighted average duration of the Bloomberg Global Aggregate ex-USD BondIndex (Hedged to USD), which was approximately 6.69 years as of December 31, 2025. From time to time, the Portfolio may deviate from this duration range when the Advisor determines it to be appropriate underthe circumstances. Duration is a measure of the sensitivity of a security’s price to changes ininterest rates. The longer a security’s duration, the more sensitive it will be to changes in interestrates. Because many of the Portfolio’s investments may be denominatedin foreign currencies, the Portfolio may enter into foreign currency forward contracts to attempt toprotect against uncertainty in the level of future foreign currency rates, to hedge against fluctuationsin currency exchange rates or to transfer balances from one currency to another. The Portfolio also mayenter into credit default swaps on issuers or indices to buy or sell credit protection to hedge its creditexposure; gain market or issuer exposure without owning the underlying securities; or increase the Portfolio'stotal return. The Portfolio may purchase or sell futures contracts and options on futures contracts,to hedge its interest rate or currency exposure or for non-hedging purposes, such as a substitute fordirect investment or to increase or decrease market exposure, including adjustments based on actual orexpected cash inflows to or outflows from the Portfolio. The Portfolio may lendits portfolio securities to generate additional income. The Portfolio is an activelymanaged exchange-traded fund and does not seek to replicate the performance of a specific index and mayhave a higher degree of portfolio turnover than such index funds.
